AVK’s Middle East office has successfully applied for the renewal of Glenfield Valves’ approved supplier status with the Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA)

“This approval demonstrates that Glenfield is continuing to offer satisfaction in supplying valves for key pumping stations and transmission line installations,” said Dias Thottan, who is responsible for maintaining AVK’s and Glenfield’s relationship with the Corporation. 

The most recent KAHRAMAA project (for which Glenfield supplied Butterfly Valves) is power project.  It will produce 1025 MW of power and 273 million litres per day of desalinated water for the country – currently one of the fastest developing in the region.

Glenfield Valves Ltd have also provided large numbers of recoil valves and large gate valves for pumping stations at many other locations around the country.
